In the middle of 2023, a major health situation and a diagnosis of an incurable liver disease caused the founder and his wife to seek the Lord and surrender to His will. During that time, the Lord spoke to them and said to start a church. In essence, the message was: "I will begin to use the church." This marked the beginning of The Lions Den Church in San Antonio, Texas.
The Lions Den Church is guided by key values rooted in faith, community, and service. Our mission is to create a welcoming and transformative spiritual home for all.
A Unique Calling
The Lions Den Church stands apart by striving to follow God's leading and adhering to the teachings of the early church as depicted in the Book of Acts. We focus on fostering the tangible presence of the Lord, aiming to ensure that every person leaves our church transformed.
Our goal is to meet the spiritual needs of the community in San Antonio by providing a place where individuals can encounter God's presence and experience personal transformation. We cater to those seeking a deeper connection with their faith.
Serving San Antonio
The Lions Den Church is actively engaged in supporting the San Antonio community through various outreach programs. One notable event was the "Drive Up Prayer," which was very successful in reaching individuals in need of spiritual support.
Additionally, the church organized a turkey basket giveaway during Thanksgiving, providing meals for those who could not afford them. These initiatives reflect our commitment to serving and uplifting the community.
